and move forward with buying the house. Oh, only if we sold when I moved to Portland, but no we were greedy and wanted to wait it out for the price to increase. Oh the lessons learned. As Ben has learned now from his trusty rich dad poor dad books, "Attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful". And so the Blake adventures continue in hopes that all systems STAY a go and that we do recieve a large check (but not as large as hoped) in two weeks.

Why must everything be so complicated? Yay for calm Blake husbands during times of panic, and for the ability to find the silver lining. We'll cross our fingers that there are no more hiccups in the process.
Congrats on the house--sorry its been such a mess. I know the market isn't fun right now (we just closed a month ago and then Wachovia got bought out so I'm sure the value of our home has already plummeted.)
Say "Happy Birthday" to momma Corley for me - can't believe she's seventy years young - really - she's way too beautiful to be 70! And as for the home, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and everyone else out there. We too are kicking ourselves for buying a home that we can't even live in right now. But things will get better - right...?
