We just got back from such a fun weekend with our best friends: Jen & Jason and Dain & Karie. Ben and I have been wanting to make it back down to Bend since that is where we Honeymooned. Since that day is approaching fast, I decided to surprise him with a pre-anniversary gift, a massage and a night at the same bed & breakfast we stayed at. The next day Jen, Jason, Ben and I hit the slopes, boy was I out of practice :) It was fun regardless of the minor pain. Dain and Karie joined us later that day for some fun times in Bend. Games, dinners out, a movie...I don't have kids yet, but it would have been an ideal weekend for someone that needs a little break from some rascals. Jen, any comments? And by the way, we missed you Nicole and Steve! Don't worry...We might have to make this a tradition.

Oh my gosh, you have no idea how sad we were that we missed it! we both said on Saturday "So, I guess the blakes are in Bend huh?:(:( lol

It sounds like you had a great weekend. I'd love to get away from my little rascals for a few days. Maybe we'll have to go on a little getaway with you guys sometime.
